November is the beginning of the dry season/winter for the Tampa Bay area. Look for snook far up creeks. They're looking for warm water. On sunny days you may find them on the flats, especially ones with dark bottoms, sunning themselves. but they are paranoid, really paranoid.

Redfish will be on these same flats too, trying to warm up and looking to feed on invertebrates that are made active by a little sunshine. Fish for them cause they're feeding, but remember that they're cold blooded and the cold water makes them slow, so slow down your presentation. with lives bait, just let t sit.

Bait? Live shrimp is your best option. the pinfish pretty much disappear from the area in the winter. If you do get some they aren't going to do you any good inshore.

Offshore is a different story. This is where all the pinfish are headed I suppose. This makes it quite natural for a pinfish to be there, thus the greedy fish will just gobble them up, once their cold water brains catch on the to the fact there's food there that is...

Best Chance to catch a great fish:
Go inshore at night. fish around bridges, the big ones are down in the channel. the little ones are around the lights and are more aggressive. Try along docks in the ICW and bays. If there's some current on the lit portion of the water, there will be snook there, feeding. If the waters is cold slow down your presentation and use smaller baits.
